Clifton is excited about his latest project, the new Coen Brothers film, Hail, Caesar! which he enjoyed filming in sunny LA alongside Channing Tatum. It also stars George Clooney, Josh Brolin, Scarlett Johansson, Ralph Fiennes and Tilda Swinton. Clifton also appeared in the 2014 remake of Columbia Pictures' Annie, which grossed over 84 million dollars, making it the 12th highest-grossing movie musical in history.

TV credits include a recurring co-star role on HBO's Boardwalk Empire, guest starring on NBC's The Blacklist, TV Land's Younger, and appearances on two web series: Alphabet Boys - where he will appear as “Joe,” the “double talking” quirky med student - and Dates, Mates & Clean Slates.

On Broadway, at The Kennedy Center, and at the Mark Taper Forum Clifton played “Kevin” opposite Jan Maxwell in the multi Tony/Grammy nominated revival of Stephen Sondheim's Follies. The cast also starred Bernadette Peters, Ron Raines, Danny Burstein, Jayne Houdyshell and Mary Beth Piel.

Last season, Clifton appeared in the original Broadway company of Amazing Grace- A New Musical (Dir: Gabe Barre) at the Nederlander Theatre. Amazing Grace opened to sold out houses at the Bank of America Theatre in Chicago before transferring to Broadway.

Off-Broadway, Clifton played “Franky,” the always ready to fight and jealously in love navy sailor who meets an untimely death in Storyville at the York Theatre Company (2014 Outer Critics Circle Nomination for Best New Off-Broadway Musical). Other Off-Broadway credits include Twilight- The Unauthorized Parody at New World Stages and UnSung Musicals' Bless You All.

In 2014 Clifton was part of two pre-Broadway world premiere musicals, including the Chicago run of Amazing Grace. He also starred in Beaches (Signature Theatre, VA) playing the entitled lawyer and cheating husband “Michael Barron.”

Clifton began his professional career in the 1st National Tour of Urban Cowboy- The Musical playing the role of “Norm Tucker.” Next, he became an original company member in the 1st National Revival Tour of A Chorus Line under the direction of Bob Avian. He also performed as a principal singer with the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and Omaha Symphony.

Clifton is a proud graduate of Oklahoma City University. He supplemented his training by attending the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities as well as Ann Reinking's Broadway Theatre Project. He now resides in Manhattan with his lovely wife, Regina and spunky dog, Reggie.
